And I used white yarn because for one, my eyes are really bad with artificial light. And two, I like to read my stitches and count them just in case I lose count in my head. So when I finished the last decrease, and took a long stare at my amigurumi creature, I found him to be more of a mousey than a monkey. Thus was the birth of Mr. Mouse. I was so proud of myself that I perched him on Mom’s kitchen window sill. She HATES mice, but says this one is too cute she could hardly find it in her heart to call it repulsive. I think that’s a positive note towards my first amigurumi animal.
Thanks to Ana Paula Rimoli and her book entitled Amigurumi World: Seriously Cute Crochet I’ll be able to make lots and lots of those make-you-want-to-squee-with-joy goodies. YAY!

That is just sooooooo cute. Good job
Thank you. Thank you. I’m glad YOU said that because I just finished creating something for YOU.
Oh really??????? Yippieeeeeee I can’t wait and you said you weren’t inspired.
I said I was inspired when I got attention. I got a MORSEL of attention and thus created your next gift that very same night.
You’ll have a hoot when you see it.
